Thank you for considering COCINA BARRO for your special event. For your information, we have included an outline of standard policies and answers to commonly asked questions.

Confirming Party Size:
A final confirmation of the guaranteed number of guests is required 5 business days prior to the function. This number will be considered final and charges will be made accordingly. Otherwise, the guarantee listed on your contract will be considered the final count.

Service charge:
A 20% service charge will be added to your bill. The applicable Illinois State sales tax will also be added.

Deposit:
A $200.00 deposit is due upon signing of the contract. Refer to the contract for any additional payments due prior to the event date. Payment in full is due at the end of the function.

Start/Ending times:
Groups must have an agreed upon start and ending time based upon the booking needs of the restaurant.

Cancellations:
In the event a function is canceled, the deposit is fully refundable if the cancellation occurs earlier than 10 business days prior to the event. If cancellation occurs within 10 business days of the function the deposit is non-refundable.

Customized Menus:
We are happy to plan a prix-fixe menu for your large party according to your needs. Your guests may receive a copy of the prix-fixe menu free of charge.

Lunch and Dinner hours: Monday 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday 11:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m., Friday 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Reservations accepted: parties of 5 and above on weekdays at least 24 hours in advance, and on weekends with at least a week’s notice
Menu specials: check with your waiter on specials prepared with fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits.
